Chronic Pain Management

Dr. Cho maintains a special interest in treating patients with chronic pain.  She has experience working within the conventional medical system and has an understanding of drugs used in chronic pain patients and how natural remedies might interact with pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Cho understands that chronic pain can be due to many conditions, and may manifest as a wide variety of symptoms.  Some of the most common causes include:

  • Accidents, injury

  • Fibromyalgia

  • Headaches, migraines

  • Muscle tension

  • Osteoarthritis/joint pain

  • Rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, autoimmune disorders

Inflammation in the body can disrupt virtually any system in the body and lead to other symptoms such as fatigue, sleep disturbance, weight gain, digestive concerns, mood changes, hormone imbalances, and more.

Dr. Cho strives to provide a comprehensive and collaborative approach to all patients.  Key components of her treatment protocols include:

  • Assessment of underlying causes of chronic pain through thorough questioning and labs

  • Addressing symptoms that are a result of pain (ie. sleep disturbances)

  • Nutritional approaches that help decrease inflammation in the body

  • Identifying and addressing mental/emotional components of chronic pain

  • Acupuncture, as required

  • Weight management programs, as required

If you are seeking change to your current protocol or are looking for natural remedies for pain, book online.
